The Town of Lewisporte wishes to inform residents of recent changes to speed limits within the town. Effective immediately, the speed limit on all roads within Lewisporte, except for those controlled by the Provincial Government (Main Street, Premier Drive, Road to the Isles), has been adjusted to 40 km per hour. Furthermore, the speed limit on Spruce Avenue, Centennial Drive, and Bowater Avenue has been set to 30 km per hour. These adjustments have been implemented in response to public safety concerns.
