Town of Lewisporte – Covid-19 Update

Important Announcement

February 14th, 2021

 

The Town of Lewisporte, in response to the Chief Medical Officer of Health’s directive, will be reverting back to Alert Level 5 protocols.

Effective immediately:

  • The Lewisporte Town Hall will be closed to the public
  • The Lewisporte Regional Fire Rescue will be closed to the public
  • The Public Works building will be closed to the public, and staff will be on a staggered schedule to limit contact.
  • All Town recreation facilities will be closed with the exception of Lewisporte Trails and Boardwalks, which will revert back to one way traffic and will continue to be use at your own risk.

 

We are still here for our residents!

The Town staff will be available for inquiries and payments Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30 pm and can be reached at 535-2737 or via email at info@lewisportecanada.com

The Town will continue to offer all essential services as normal. If you have an emergency, please call our emergency line at (709) 541-0100.

Permits and applications can be found on the Towns website at www.Lewisporte.ca and emailed to info@lewisportecanada.com

Property taxes are due May 31st, 2021, discount date March 31st, 2021. Payment options include credit card via telephone, electronic fund transfers, and by cheque mailed to:

The Town will continue to follow the lead of the Chief Medical officer and inform residents accordingly through social media and via our website.
