Boaters will appreciate the many facilities available at our internationally recognized marina. Lewisporte has a very active Yacht Club with more than 200 members. There is a marina for small craft tie up and two marina launch haul-up facilities.
The numerous forest access roads in the area are ideal for access to favorite hunting and fishing spots throughout the year. There are a number of excellent hunting & salmon rivers within easy driving distance from Lewisporte. Newfoundland is famous for its excellent hunting and some of the best hunting areas are readily available from town.
And in winter months, there is no better place for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing and other cold weather activities than Central Newfoundland.
